Samantha Pahlow, CTFA, AWMA, joined Goldman Shelby in 2018 as a senior vice president and portfolio manager. She is a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) and Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA) with over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting. Samantha helps individual clients and their families manage and protect their wealth through wealth planning, investment management and legacy guidance. She is passionate about working collaboratively with clients and their tax and legal advisors to create financial wealth plans that will achieve their goals in a well-thought-out and cohesive manner. Samantha is a member of the firm’s wealth management committee and practice management committee and co-chair of the firm’s internship program.
Before joining Goldman Shelby, Samantha worked as a senior vice president and private wealth director at Riverview Trust Company and as a wealth advisor for Wells Fargo Private Bank, where she helped high-net-worth individuals navigate the complexities of their personal wealth. Prior to her career in wealth management, Samantha was a practicing CPA at Pittman & Brooks and Moss Adams LLP, where she focused on accounting and tax compliance for business owners and their families.
Samantha earned her B.S. in business administration and accounting from Portland State University, graduating magna cum laude. She is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Portland, the Financial Planning Association of Oregon and Southwest Washington, the American Bankers Association and Portland Women in Finance. Sammi currently serves on the board of trustees for Portland State University Foundation and the Estate Planning Council of Portland. She is a prior board member for the Providence Children’s Health Foundation, a prior board member and finance chair of Young Audiences of Oregon and Southwest Washington and has previously served as an accounting and finance mentor in the Portland State University Mentorship Program.
Samantha is a native Oregonian. Along with her husband and two children, she loves reading, exploring the beautiful outdoors and the Oregon food and wine scene, as well as travelling with friends and family.
