Blaine Dickason joined Goldman Shelby in 2018 and is a member of the firm’s investment and trading department, serving on the firm’s fixed income team and as the manager of the trading department. He is responsible for fixed income and tax-efficient trading.

Prior to joining Goldman Shelby, Blaine was a fixed income portfolio manager and head trader at Quest Investment Management. His responsibilities included managing institutional fixed income portfolios for Taft-Hartley and corporate accounts and conducting all fixed income and equity trading across multiple investment products. He also was previously employed at Mazama Capital Management and Wells Fargo Securities in trading and sales.

Blaine earned his B.A. in biology with a secondary study in economics from Reed College, where he was captain of the rugby team. He is a current member and past president of the Security Traders Association of Portland and serves on the board of Oregon Wildlife Foundation.

Originally from the East Coast, he now lives in Northeast Portland with his wife and two daughters and enjoys skiing, windsurfing, fly fishing and playing the piano with his family in his free time.
